Today, we are extremely excited to announce the genesis NFT collection between Claire Droppert and CP Collectives. This release marks a true first for SuperRare as it will be the first ever collaboration between a famous digital artist and travel photography community.

The GRAVITY FLOWER POWER series will be the first ever to be released by CP Collectives, marking the start of a new innovative and collaborative paradigm of digital art and photography. As a community of more than 3.1 million people, CP Collectives strive to show people the true beauty of nature, culture and everyday life. That is why we wanted our first collaboration to be with someone who has an unparalleled talent for capturing stunning landscapes and picturesque backdrops, Claire Droppert.

While the majority of existing NFTs focus on digital art and animation while others focus on edited photos, we wanted to create something truly unique by blurring the lines between art, photography, and animation. The result is a series of works that capture the imagination of the viewer by inviting them to admire the beauty of the world around them.

The launch consists of a trilogy of works: 'Our Strong Red Lalibela’ (Onze Sterke Rode Lalibela),‘Our Cheerful White Daffodils' (Onze Vrolijke Witte Narcissen)’ and ‘Our Peaceful Blue Orientalis' (Onze Vredige Blauwe Orientalis)’. Each individual work has its own story and deep-rooted symbolism inspired by the Dutch national flag. These digital three pieces follow on from Claire’s original ‘Dutch Flower Power Series’ and officially be the next works in the series.

The GRAVITY FLOWER POWER digital release will act as an evolution to this prior series, taking inspiration from gravity, the most powerful natural force in the universe. This lens on the subject enabled CP and Claire to collaboratively create three works that capture the imagination of the viewer by suspending freshly cut flowers in zero gravity. The idea of gravity rhymes with the idea of elements like light and wind and how they impact the world around us. Her Gravity Sand Creatures I & II series was based on that, and with this successive Gravity series, she found a strong and colourful way to illustrate these omnipotent natural forces as they play such a key role in the daily lives of Dutch individuals.

The series pays tribute to Dutch culture as this is where the compositions were taken, and we wanted to celebrate the beauty of this country. To capture the images, Claire spent weeks venturing out to various locations near Lisse, situated in the ‘Duin en Bollenstreek’ region which is renowned for Tulips. Each of the flowers for the series was chosen meticulously to ensure that the compositions were perfect. Therefore, on behalf of CP Collectives and Claire Droppert, we hope you enjoy these works and find some time to appreciate the beauty around you.
